WEST HARBOUR JUNIOR STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS The The NSWJRU State Championships to be held over the June long weekend are shaping up to be one of the most successful ever and involve teams from the Sydney District Clubs, NSW Country, Victoria, ACT and Queensland. The Championships form an important part of the Representative program in the 15s, 16s and 17s age groups and enable younger players in the 10s-14s to further develop their Rugby skills learnt at Club level. It is anticipated that more than 122 teams will compete with the U/10s age group having a one day tournament on Sunday June 30th. All other age groups will compete at 6 different venues over the weekend of June 8th, 9th and 10th. 2013 SEASON The Sydney Rugby Union Competition will be played over 18 rounds with a top 8 four week final series culminating in the Colts Grand Finals on September 7th and Grade Grand Finals on September 14th. Teams generally train at St Lukes Park at Concord on Wednesday nights. Wests Minis (Under 6's to Under 9's) compete in the Inner West Minis Competition held at a central venue (St Lukes Concord) on Saturday mornings throughout the season. The Minis also train at St Lukes on Wednesday nights.
