Rory Sidey TRAINING 2010 SEASON Club Training for all Grade and Colts sides commenced on Tuesday 5th January at St Lukes Park (Stanley Street, Concord) - players should assemble at 6.15pm. Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 6.30pm throughout the season. New players are welcome. The West Harbour Gym remains open for all players during the off season - please note that the gym will be closed for general use on Monday nights from 5.30-8.00pm as the area is being used for 1st Grade/Senior Academy Training. Clint Hill is the Club's new strength and conditioning coach - Clint will be available at the gym on Wednesday nights from 6.30-8.30pm to assist all players in the club with programs, dietary requirements and advice. New weights programs are available at the gym. You are reminded that the gym is for use by West Harbour/Wests Juniors players - please bring & use a towel on equipment. COLTS NEW ZEALAND TOUR
The West Harbour Colts are undertaking a 10 day tour to New Zealand in preparation for the 2010 season. The group departs on Friday 19th February playing two games in Auckland and one in Rotorua against the New Zealand Academy of Sport. The players have organised a Harbour Cruise on 30th January and a Raffle drawn on 6th February as fund raisers for the tour. See The Colts Corner for a Tour Itinerary and further information.

Friday nights at St Lukes Oval for 6 weeks from 19th February Wests Juniors are running a Try Rugby Program at St Lukes Oval Concord for 4 to 7 year olds on Friday nights from 5.00 to 6.30pm. COLTS RE UNION - Saturday 13th March The Club is organising a Wests/West Harbour Colts Re Union on Saturday 13th March in the Concourse Area at Concord Oval from 6.00 to 10.30pm. We are targeting the Colts sides in the West Harbour era (from 1995 onwards) to not only see old faces and re live the glory years but also to extend an invitation to include these former players and officials in the Wests Legends. This night also incorporates the 2010 Colts Season Launch for the Season amd will feature speakers and memorabilia from your playing days. An e-mail is currently being circulated with this information - please pass this onto your mates who may not be on our current e-mail mailing list and begin to organise tables (10's) for the night. | The first soft drink can be traced back as far as the late 1700s when a young watchmaker, Jean Jacob Schweppe, was the first to perfect a process for manufacturing the world's first carbonated mineral water.
